2024 WORK DAYS

Work days are times when representatives of the board will be on property working to prepare camp for the upcoming season. Projects are readied for volunteers who come to camp on these days to help with the work that goes on during the pre-season of camp ministry. Work might include anything from picking up sticks and splitting firewood to painting and roofing camp buildings. If there is any question concerning weather, contact the number below for an update.

Groups can also make arrangements to work in camp on your own camp approved project by calling the off-season camp office at 724.825.5613. If you have your own project in mind, it might be a good idea to bring your tools unless prior arrangements have been made. Be a part of the beautification and restoration of the property and we hope to see you at Carmel in the spring!

2024 FAMILY REUNION WEEKEND

It’s hard to believe but we are entering our 71st season at Camp Carmel!. So many lives have been changed through the years and we will be coming together to celebrate on the opening weekend of the camping season from June 14-16. The weekend will start with a meal, message, and campfire service on Friday evening June 14 around 5:00 PM.

Saturday, June 15 will be a full day of indoor and outdoor activities led by Director Josh Iams and teachings by one of our local and camp-associated pastors. Sunday School and Church on Sunday morning, June 16 before our closing lunch together.

We hear from so many who say they “need to get back down to camp and visit” and here’s your chance to do so! Special activities are being planned for the weekend and announcements will be made in the coming weeks as well as a list of organized activities for the weekend. Mark the date and make sure to bring family and friends as we gather to celebrate a place that has meant so much to so many of us!

ANNUAL CAMP GOLF OUTING

The 16th annual Camp Carmel golf outing will be held at the Carmichaels Golf Course on Sunday, August 25th. Once again this year we will enter the links at 2:00 PM with a pork loin picnic dinner at approximately 6:30 to close out our fund-raiser. This day has had a full field of golfers over the past few years so register early to participate in a great day for a great cause! Registrations will be accepted starting in July and you or your business can also sponsor a hole or tee for the afternoon. Nearly $50,000 has been raised since our first outing in 2009!
